Located on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, Cortona is very easy to get to both by train (train stations in Terontola and Camucia are only few miles away from the town centre) and by car in spite of its hill-top location at about 600 metres a.s.l.

Flying:

• International Airport of Florence-Peretola (at about 80 miles).
• International Airport of Perugia-Sant’Egidio (at about 40 miles).

By train:

• Railway line Florence/Rome, Train station of Terontola or Camucia.
• Railway line Terontola-Perugia-Assisi-Terni, Train station of Terontola (1 ½ miles).

A taxi cab service is available from the station.

Driving:

Travelling on the A1 Highway both north - and southbound get off at the Valdichiana toll-booth. Once you have exited the highway take a right at the roundabout, follow signs for Perugia and get on the Siena-Perugia speedway.
Get off the speedway at the Pietraia exit and turn left following signs for Riccio-Cortona.
After a few kilometres, at the stop sign turn right onto the SR71 state road and about 300 metres down the road turn left for Tuoro SS75.
A few hundreds of metres down the road turn on the left-hand side for Cortoreggio and follow the signs “Agriturismo Cortoreggio”.
